This Privacy Policy explains how Surf-Shark Accelerator (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') handles information related to accounts, devices, and connections in the mobile application (referred to as the 'App'). The App is provided as is, and we take reasonable measures to maintain service security and user privacy.

When you download and launch the App, necessary operational data may be collected, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and session duration. To recommend suitable nodes and improve connection quality, we may process approximate device location information. This information is used for: 1. Node recommendations based on Surf-Shark Accelerator routing coverage; 2. Performance improvement through anonymized aggregate data; 3. Service communication such as updates, security notices, and necessary account reminders sent to your registered email or username.

We only transmit aggregated anonymized data to necessary third-party partners, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, to support crash analysis, statistics, and product improvement. Except in the following cases, we do not share your personal information with third parties: 1. Compliance with legal process or regulatory requirements; 2. Protection of users, property, or investigation of fraud; 3. Cooperation with entrusted service providers under confidentiality obligations. To stop new data collection, remove the App through the standard uninstall process on your device.

User-provided data will be retained during the service period and for a reasonable grace period afterward. To cancel your account or request deletion of personal data, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from that group. If such data is discovered, we will delete it as soon as practical. We use physical, electronic, and administrative measures to reduce unauthorized access risks.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time due to regulatory requirements or business changes. Please review this page periodically. Continued use after updates are published will be deemed acceptance of the revised terms. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
